If we look at the sky at night, we see many stars.  We can see a maximum of 4,500 stars with our unaided eye, but if we look through a low-power telescope, the number of stars goes up to 200,000, and if we look through a high-power telescope,  The number runs into crores.

 There are more than 30 billion stars in our galaxy alone and the distance between these stars is so great that it cannot be measured in kilometers or miles.  Hence this distance is measured in light years.  And one light year is equal to 5,878,499,810,000 miles.  If we want to travel from one star to another star in the galaxy, it may take us 4 to 5 light years.  That means even going at the speed of light can take 4-5 years.  And the number of galaxies in the universe is more than one billion. Our solar system is a particle in this terrifyingly vast space.

 

 So is Earth the only place in this vast system where life exists?

 Are we the only beings in this vast system or are there some invisible beings living somewhere in the galaxies that are millions of light years away from us??

 

 This is a question on which hundreds of books, stories and movies have been written, and even today, despite thousands of investigations, no one has been able to answer this question with clear evidence.
